Responsibilities 

  • Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

  • Complete repairs.

  • Troubleshoot breakdowns and faults.

  • Order parts.

  • Clean and maintain equipment and tools.

Qualifications

  • 4 years experience required.

  • Intermediate English.

  • College – Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal).

  • Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license.

  • Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician.

  • Any advanced diagnostic training (brand specific) considered an asset.

  • Mechanically inclined.

  • Technologically inclined (computer, smartphones, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Mechanical reliability principles and programs.
