Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Complete repairs.
Troubleshoot breakdowns and faults.
Order parts.
Clean and maintain equipment and tools.
Qualifications
4 years experience required.
Intermediate English.
College – Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal).
Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.
Valid class 5 driver’s license.
Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician.
Any advanced diagnostic training (brand specific) considered an asset.
Mechanically inclined.
Technologically inclined (computer, smartphones, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook).
Mechanical reliability principles and programs.
