Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel and other materials.Â
Work and communicate openly with the team.Â
Do pre-use inspection and maintenance on equipment.
Must follow all safety measures under legislation, company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
5+ years demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment.
Experience operating excavators.
Intermediate level of English.
Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.
Heavy Equipment Operating school is considered an asset.
Class 3 or Class 1 license is considered an asset.
Hardworking, self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic.
Strong communication skills.
Strong safety mindset, with the ability to perform all duties with a high degree of safety consciousness.
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
