Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Provide leadership and direction to on-site supervisors and staff, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, regularly meeting with customers to ensure job requirements and long-term expectations are met.
Actively seek out and pursue new business opportunities through existing and potential customers, and tender sites.
Monitor operational and financial metrics, develop and implement initiatives for operational improvement and growth, and participate in budgeting and capital planning.
Continually develop team skills through coaching and mentoring, ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, and work closely with support functions to meet operational goals.
Qualifications
5 years of experience in a related industry. Management experience in construction, with a background in piling and deep foundations is considered an asset.
Intermediate level of English.
Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.
Associate’s degree with equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Operations or Engineering is considered an asset.
Valid driver’s license.Â
Lean or Six Sigma certifications or equivalent continuous improvement experience is considered an asset.
Strong technical background with experience in process management and quality assurance programs.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership, team building, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management systems.
Action-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills for managing complex customer relationships.
