Responsibilities 

  • Must have a strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • The NDE Technician is responsible for safely and accurately conducting non-destructive testing and reporting.

  • Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer.

  • Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified.

  • Interpret, evaluate, and document results.

  • Prepare ROWPs and interact with clients.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience required

  • Intermediate level of English.

  • CGSB certification in all NDT methods (Level II MT/PT/UT//RT/VT).

  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures, and knowledge of NDT equipment.

  • Level II MP, PT, RT, UT, API 653 considered an asset.

  • Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.

  • Ability to maintain positive working relations with co-workers and clients.

  • Attention to details and accurate reporting.

  • Strong work ethic.

  • Exceptional safety and quality awareness.

  • Able to do physical work.
