Responsibilities 

  • Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • Utilize advanced chemical engineering principles to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and environmental health and safety to achieve production goals.

  • Conduct thorough analyses of chemical processes and equipment performance to identify and resolve issues.

  • Implement and oversee environmental compliance measures related to chemical usage and waste management.

Qualifications

  • 10-15 years of engineering experience in an industrial pulper & paper environment.

  • Advanced level of English.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.

  • Well-developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Understands and can demonstrate analytical problem solving and decision making.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Curious, persistent problem solver with natural tendency to ask questions.

  • Mechanically inclined with ability to figure out how things work.

  • Strong focus on safety and process improvement.

  • Able to display evidence of leadership skills from previous work experience.

  • Possesses drive, initiative and works well in cross functional teams.
