Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Utilize advanced chemical engineering principles to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, maintenance, and environmental health and safety to achieve production goals.
Conduct thorough analyses of chemical processes and equipment performance to identify and resolve issues.
Implement and oversee environmental compliance measures related to chemical usage and waste management.
Qualifications
10-15 years of engineering experience in an industrial pulper & paper environment.
Advanced level of English.
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Well-developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Understands and can demonstrate analytical problem solving and decision making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Curious, persistent problem solver with natural tendency to ask questions.
Mechanically inclined with ability to figure out how things work.
Strong focus on safety and process improvement.
Able to display evidence of leadership skills from previous work experience.
Possesses drive, initiative and works well in cross functional teams.
