Responsibilities 

  • Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • Production Support – Rotate through various areas of the sawmill to assist in production processes, including material handling, sorting, and supporting machine operators.

  • Material Handling and Maintenance – Lift, pull, and pile materials to maintain continuous production flow and ensure accessibility for production teams.

  • Safety Adherence – Follow safety protocols and participate in safety training to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.

  • Quality Assurance – Conduct basic quality checks to ensure products meet company standards and report discrepancies.

  • Team Collaboration – Work closely with your team and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a similar environment

  • Intermediate level of English

  • High School Diploma.

  • Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.

  • Physical Fitness – Ability to lift, pull, and pile materials in a physically demanding environment.

  • Concerned about the quality of the work.

  • Positive attitude.

  • Be able to work in a team.

  • Follow safety standards.

  • Fast leaning speed.

  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
