Responsibilities 

  • Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • Programming, troubleshooting and commissioning Electrical Control System equipment.

  • Assistance with Capital Project Work - planning, designing and commissioning logic and equipment as required.

  • Responding to day-to-day operation’s requests for assistance with electrical equipment in a 24/7 operating environment.

  • Work with plant operational teams to drive continuous improvement efforts related to process control systems.

  • Occasional supervision of E&I Technicians in their day-to-day maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of Industrial experience.

  • Intermediate to advanced level of English.

  • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Trades Certification in Instrumentation or Electrical.

  • Extensive experience with OT Control Networks, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and OPCDA/OPCUA and SCADA systems.

  • Extensive experience with Electrical Controls Systems, Distributed Control Systems (Honeywell DCS) and Rockwell Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and VFDs.

  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the engineering and implementing projects.

  • Sound problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Proven leadership ability and able to work well within a team.
