Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Programming, troubleshooting and commissioning Electrical Control System equipment.
Assistance with Capital Project Work - planning, designing and commissioning logic and equipment as required.
Responding to day-to-day operation’s requests for assistance with electrical equipment in a 24/7 operating environment.
Work with plant operational teams to drive continuous improvement efforts related to process control systems.
Occasional supervision of E&I Technicians in their day-to-day maintenance activities.
Qualifications
5-8 years of Industrial experience.
Intermediate to advanced level of English.
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Trades Certification in Instrumentation or Electrical.
Extensive experience with OT Control Networks, EtherNet/IP, Modbus, DeviceNet, ControlNet, and OPCDA/OPCUA and SCADA systems.
Extensive experience with Electrical Controls Systems, Distributed Control Systems (Honeywell DCS) and Rockwell Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and VFDs.
Knowledgeable and skilled in the engineering and implementing projects.
Sound problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects.
Proven leadership ability and able to work well within a team.
