Responsibilities 

  • Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical and instrumentation maintenance technicians.

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance checks on electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support plant reliability and production goals.

  • Evaluate and procure necessary materials and spare parts for maintenance activities.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Pulp & Paper or other industrial environments considered an asset.

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or other completed 2-year (minimum) post-secondary program in Engineering or another technical discipline and/or a Red Seal in an Electrical/Instrumentation trade.

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.

  • Desire to grow and develop your leadership and technical capabilities.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge on CMMS software (experience on JD Edwards E1 an asset).

  • WO management.

  • Scheduling management.
