Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical and instrumentation maintenance technicians.
Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance checks on electrical and instrumentation systems.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support plant reliability and production goals.
Evaluate and procure necessary materials and spare parts for maintenance activities.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in Pulp & Paper or other industrial environments considered an asset.
A Bachelor’s Degree or other completed 2-year (minimum) post-secondary program in Engineering or another technical discipline and/or a Red Seal in an Electrical/Instrumentation trade.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Desire to grow and develop your leadership and technical capabilities.
Exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge on CMMS software (experience on JD Edwards E1 an asset).
