Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Follow safe work practices outlined in the company policies and work standards.
Use company work management system to develop and prioritize detailed work plans for the Electrical & Instrumentation team.
Develop work plans and supervise the execution of contracted work.
Develop and manage work plans related to maintenance shutdown work and assisting front line leaders as required.
Assist in the development of the electrical and instrumentation basic care inspection program
Assist in the development of inventory spare components (BOM's) for Electrical and Instrumentation entities.
Ensure all equipment files are up-to-date with the latest documentation.
Provide Team Leader relief for vacations & absences.
Qualifications
3+ years experience in Electrical and Instrumentation trade working in an industrial environment.
Intermediate to advanced level of English.
Familiarity with JD Edwards, E1 work management system would be an asset.
Ability to work with computer programs such as MS Project, Excel, Word and other related programs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment of other industrial tradespeople, engineers and service providers.
Good understanding of Program Logic Controllers, DCS (Foxboro) and other related information technologies would be an asset.
Good knowledge of the maintenance tactics and reliability as related to high and low voltage electrical equipment such as breakers, starters, motors, relays, etc.
