Responsibilities 

  • Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee forestry operations, including harvesting, silviculture, road construction, and maintenance.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, forest management standards, and company policies.

  • Collaborate with contractors, government agencies, Indigenous communities, and local stakeholders.

  • Conduct fieldwork to monitor forest conditions, regeneration success, and operational quality.

  • Utilize GIS, forest inventory systems, and digital tools to support planning and reporting.

  • Participate in sustainability certification programs and audits.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and environmental performance.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience

  • Fluent level of English

  • Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Forest Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.

  • Knowledge of forest management planning, silviculture, and harvesting operations.

  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable forest practices.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites.
