Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee forestry operations, including harvesting, silviculture, road construction, and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, forest management standards, and company policies.
Collaborate with contractors, government agencies, Indigenous communities, and local stakeholders.
Conduct fieldwork to monitor forest conditions, regeneration success, and operational quality.
Utilize GIS, forest inventory systems, and digital tools to support planning and reporting.
Participate in sustainability certification programs and audits.
Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and environmental performance.
Qualifications
10 years of experience
Fluent level of English
Bachelor’s degree in Forestry, Forest Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
Knowledge of forest management planning, silviculture, and harvesting operations.
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable forest practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to field sites.
