Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Analyze, design, and implement improvements in manufacturing processes to increase productivity, efficiency, and quality.
Support mill operations with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Develop and apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement process modifications and new technologies.
Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
10 years of experience
Fluent level of English.
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing, process industries, or pulp and paper operations (asset).
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Proficiency with CAD, process modeling, and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Technical English (written and spoken).
