Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including PLC’s, motors, drives, and other automated equipment.Â
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to identify and address electrical problems.Â
Install, test, and calibrate electrical systems and components in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Â
Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.Â
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
Intermediate level of English.
High School Diploma
Technical diploma or certification in electrical maintenance with Red Seal or willing to obtain.
Technical diploma or certification in electrical maintenance with Red Seal are considered a asset.
Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.
Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and automation equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and documentation skills.
