Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems
Diagnose faults in motors, control panels, transformers, and automation systems
Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
Maintain and repair PLC-controlled equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code and workplace safety regulations
Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime
Document maintenance activities and report system performance
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of industrial wiring, motor controls, VFDs, and automation systems
Experience in troubleshooting high-voltage systems
Familiarity with PLC programming and diagnostics
Ability to work rotating shifts if required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license
Commitment to workplace safety standards
