Responsibilities 

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems

  • Diagnose faults in motors, control panels, transformers, and automation systems

  • Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings

  • Maintain and repair PLC-controlled equipment (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance

  • Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code and workplace safety regulations

  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and minimize downtime

  • Document maintenance activities and report system performance

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of industrial wiring, motor controls, VFDs, and automation systems

  • Experience in troubleshooting high-voltage systems

  • Familiarity with PLC programming and diagnostics

  • Ability to work rotating shifts if required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Commitment to workplace safety standards
