Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment with a primary focus on Excavators and Bulldozers.
Experience operating Motor Graders and Backhoe Loaders is considered an asset.
Perform trenching and excavation work for the installation of water and sewer pipelines, electrical utilities, drainage systems, and culverts.
Move, load, excavate, spread, and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials.
Experience working with GPS and machine control systems is highly desirable.
Experience in finishing, fine grading, and precision earthwork is considered a strong asset.
Previous experience in civil construction, quarry, or mining environments is preferred.
Demonstrate a strong safety mindset, including knowledge of safety protocols, proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and safe management of hazardous activities.
Perform pre-use inspections and basic equipment maintenance, identifying and reporting any mechanical or safety concerns.
Follow all safety requirements in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies, and procedures.
Work collaboratively and maintain clear and open communication with supervisors and team members.

5+ years demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment.
Operate heavy equipment with a primary focus on Excavators and Bulldozers.
Experience operating Motor Graders and Backhoe Loaders is considered an asset.
Intermediate level of English.
Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.
Heavy Equipment Operating school is considered an asset.
Class 3 or Class 1 license is considered an asset.
Hardworking, self-starter and team player with a strong work ethic.
Strong communication skills.
Strong safety mindset, with the ability to perform all duties with a high degree of safety consciousness.
Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
