Responsibilities 

  • Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • Demonstrate the ability to safely and efficiently assemble, operate, and disassemble, pickers, boom trucks, crawler and hydraulic cranes.  

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating cranes, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.

  • Actively engage in employer safety programs, contributing to ongoing safety initiatives and training.

  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth operation and project success.

  • Operate cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment according to job requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members to ensure clear understanding and project alignment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years operating various types of cranes (mobile, tower, etc.).

  • Intermediate level of English. Not necessary for the first interview.

  • Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.

  • Valid Class 1 driver’s license and crane operator certification/license.

  • In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to crane operations.

  • Strong work ethic, physical strength, and stamina for long hours and heavy lifting.

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.

  • Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.

  • Attention to detail with a focus on safety.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
