Responsibilities
Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.
Demonstrate the ability to safely and efficiently assemble, operate, and disassemble, pickers, boom trucks, crawler and hydraulic cranes. Â
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating cranes, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members.
Actively engage in employer safety programs, contributing to ongoing safety initiatives and training.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks efficiently, ensuring smooth operation and project success.
Operate cranes to lift and move heavy materials and equipment according to job requirements.
Maintain accurate records of crane operations, maintenance, and inspections.
Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members to ensure clear understanding and project alignment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years operating various types of cranes (mobile, tower, etc.).
Intermediate level of English. Not necessary for the first interview.
Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.
Valid Class 1 driver’s license and crane operator certification/license.
In-depth knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to crane operations.
Strong work ethic, physical strength, and stamina for long hours and heavy lifting.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail with a focus on safety.
Willingness to travel as needed.
