Responsibilities 

  • Strong safety mindset, ability to work with safety protocols, utilization of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and demonstrate proficiency in managing hazardous activities while ensuring personal and team safety.

  • Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce and shape precision parts in accordance with safety, quality, and operations standards.

  • Review and understand blueprints and engineer drawings.

  • Collaborate with peers for better ways to achieve desired outcomes of making parts/components.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience required.

  • Intermediate level of English.

  • Apprentice, Trade Certification, or associate degree in Machining.

  • Certification or courses in workplace safety are considered an asset.

  • 1st block completion from community college considered an asset.

  • Capable of operating all machines relevant to this trade relevant to the level of work accumulated hours.

  • Provide excellent customer service.

  • Team player who requires minimum supervision.

  • Journeyman or Red Seal Machinist are considered an asset.

  • CNC Certification is considered an asset.

  • CNC experience is considered an asset.
